At Cool Running’s, I take pride in breeding quality terriers, not quantity.  I strive to maintain the Jack Russell Terrier’s traditional virtues for correct conformation, a willing worker, and a trusted family companion.  Using this approach, my breeding program produces some of the finest examples of eager, intelligent, and successful Jack Russells.

I breed one to two litters per year, from which I offer both show and pet quality puppies.  All puppies are raised in my home with family, are well socialized, and come with a written contract and health guarantee.
I am very selective in placing my puppies.  Although the Jack Russell is a unique and wonderful breed, it is also one that has special needs and requirements so it may not be a suitable breed for everyone.  Prospective buyers are thoroughly screened for having a good working knowledge of the breed before being approved to purchase a Cool Running’s terrier.
